DENVER - Carlos Gonzalez is crossing his swollen left index finger that a little break can finally fix his dinged-up digit. Cheap Jordan 1 Off White . After dealing with a finicky finger for most of the season, the Colorado Rockies All-Star outfielder was placed on the 15-day disabled list Wednesday. A difficult choice, he said, but he decided that enough was finally enough. Unable to grip the bat with the finger so inflamed, his average has dipped to .255 this season. This from a career .300 hitter. "Everybody knows Im not the same player out there," the 28-year-old Gonzalez said. "I dont think its just smart to play that way and keep hurting the team when I have teammates that are doing really good. I think this is the best option right now." To take Gonzalezs place on the roster, the Rockies recalled infielder Ryan Wheeler from Triple-A Colorado Springs. They also recalled catcher Michael McKenry from Colorado Springs and designated catcher Jordan Pacheco for assignment. The break will give Gonzalez a chance to rest not only his ailing finger, but a balky left knee thats given him trouble at times. "Deep down, he feels like this is his best shot to get healthy," Rockies manager Walt Weiss said. "I told him that there are four months left in the season. A couple of weeks right now to be healthy the rest of the way? That would be a good trade off." He agreed. An easy decision given the way his replacement in left field, Corey Dickerson, is swinging the bat right now. Dickerson is hitting .345 with seven homers. "A guy whos been really hot like Dickerson — I think hes the best option right now at the plate," said Gonzalez, who was bothered by a sprained right middle finger last season, playing in just 19 games after the All-Star break. "For me, Ive just got to heal and be the CarGo that everybody knows." Head trainer Keith Dugger said the plan is to simply let the finger rest for a little bit. They will also massage the digit and do "some little tricks we have." "He just needs time off from swinging — bottom line," Dugger added. "I cant give you a timeframe. I dont know if two weeks is going to be enough." Dugger said they will test out the finger in about 10 days. "If theres no improvement, you back off again," Dugger said. "If theres improvement, you move forward." Weiss remains confident that once Gonzalez gets his finger situation resolved, hell return to the form that led him to be an All-Star the last two seasons. "His track record is pretty good," Weiss said. "Hes going to hit and hes going to perform. Its just tough performing in this league, trying to work around nagging injuries." Off White Jordan 1 Wholesale . -- Kenneth Faried made a turnaround hook shot over Draymond Green with a half-second remaining, and the Denver Nuggets made Golden State wait at least one more game to secure a playoff berth with a stunning 100-99 win over the Warriors on Thursday night. Winnipeg trailed by five points in the final minute when quarterback Drew Willy completed a 13-play, 75-yard drive with Feoli-Gudinos 18-yard touchdown catch on third down to lift the Bombers to a 34-33 victory over the Montreal Alouettes on Friday night. http://www.bestfakejordan1.com/best-fake-retro-air-jordan-1-mid-yellow-toe-black-mens.html . New York then missed its next six shots and scored only two points the rest of the night. The Los Angeles Clippers defence and the Knicks general ineptitude both played a role in the unsurprising finish to a meeting of two teams headed in opposite directions.Philadelphia, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - How many times can the pendulum swing in one World Series? Kansas City entered the Fall Classic with more momentum than any team in the history of baseball. Then Madison Bumgarner happened. The Royals then put that behind them and showed exactly why they were in this spot, as they won Games 2 and 3 with the same timely hitting, outstanding defense and, of course, incredible bullpen work that allowed them to win the first eight games of this postseason. But the Giants gave the Royals a bit of their own medicine on Saturday, rallying from a three-run deficit and getting some timely hits of their own, while their own bullpen outperformed Kansas Citys for at least one night in an 11-4 win that evened this best-of-seven series at two games apiece. Things may have looked bleak in San Francisco after Fridays loss, but the Giants again have all the momentum. It appeared as it this was going to be two series for the Giants. There was the game that Bumgarner pitched, then there was everything else. Like Kansas City needing just one win in San Fran to get the series back to Kauffman Stadium, the Giants goal in coming back to San Fran was to get another win in the either of the first two games not started by Bumgarner. Well, mission accomplished. San Francisco now stands a good chance at going back to Kansas City with the series lead, as it will hand the ball to the best postseason pitcher in baseball on Sunday. And he will be on full rest. San Francisco manager Bruce Bochy may have given a thhought to starting Bumgarner in Game 4, but he made the right move in staying with Ryan Vogelsong, even though he managed to give the Giants just eight outs on Saturday. Cheap Jordan 1 Banned. Like the Giants lineup when Kelvin Herrera, Wade Davis and Greg Holland enter the game, the Royals lineup could be just as intimidated with Bumgarner on the hill. The 25-year-old left-hander may not win an NL Cy Young Award this season, but he has established himself as the best money pitcher in the sport right now. Bumgarner gave up one run over seven innings to beat the Royals in Game 1. His only mistake was a two-out home run to Royals catcher Salvador Perez in the seventh inning, which ended his MLB-record scoreless innings streak on the road at 33 2/3 frames. It was also the first run he had surrendered in three World Series starts, spanning 21 innings, dating back to 2012. Bumgarners 3-1 with a 1.40 ERA in five starts this postseason and hes also won all three of his World Series starts with an 0.41 ERA. His six straight postseason starts of seven-plus innings with seven or fewer baserunners is also an MLB record. His only loss this postseason, though, came at AT&T Park. Oh and in case anyone was wondering, even though the Giants scored 11 runs it only counts as one win. By the way, none of those runs scored against the Kansas City bullpen came against guys with the last name of Herrera, Davis or Holland. After all this the season comes down to a best-of-three. Buckle in ... I have a feeling this one is going seven. ' ' '
